Comprehensive In-Residence Program
The Comprehensive, In-Residence Program is the most frequently used program. It is appropriate for any level of employee but most often provided for mid-to-upper level managers, professionals, or technical specialists. All Comprehensive Program candidates receive shared office space, unlimited consultation for the duration of their program, the Online Career Transition Center for program duration plus one month, and full administrative support. The differentiating factor is time. Comprehensive Programs can be as short as two months or last for more than one year. Programs in the three-to-six month range are typical and afford most candidates sufficient time to transition to a new career.
Executive In-Residence Program The Executive, In-Residence Program is designed for the most senior managers in an organization. The sponsored executive is provided a private office with personal computer, private phone line with personal answering service, and a senior level coach as career transition counselor. This program provides greater privacy and prestige consistent with previous organization status. The Executive Program is a minimum six months duration.
Group Job Search Workshop Job Search Workshops are designed for groups of up to sixteen candidates. Usually presented for hourly and/or non-exempt clerical employees, these workshops are conducted in our career center or in a training facility convenient to attendees. The workshop is usually presented in one-day format. However, because a resume cannot be completed in a "group" setting, workshop participants subsequently come to CPI/RWCA’s office individually to complete development of a resume in a one-on-one meeting with a counselor. If a Two-Day Workshop is selected, the second day is devoted to resume development (though individual follow-up is still necessary) and interview skills practice (role-play). Following the workshop, ongoing face-to-face and/or phone consultation, on a scheduled basis, is available to all workshop participants for the duration of their job search.
